Frequentley Asked Questions
DO YOU WORK WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANIES?
Yes, we work with all insurance companies.
HOW MANY ESTIMATES DO I NEED?
We work with your insurance company to establish an estimate, as do many collision repair centers. Getting multiple estimates is generally not advantageous, as they will all be nearly identical.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
To avoid waiting, we suggest scheduling an appointment online in advance, but if you find yourself short on time, please give us a call and we will try and fit you in as soon as convenient.
HOW LONG WILL REPAIRS TAKE?
It depends on a lot of things like the complexity of the repairs, the availability of parts and materials, the time it takes for your insurance company to approve the repairs and much more. It varies from one repair to the next, but once we have disassembled your vehicle we’ll give you an estimate of the completion date and then keep you informed every step along the way.
WHAT WILL I DRIVE IN THE MEANTIME?
If you need a rental vehicle, we will help get that arranged. If your insurance policy does not cover the cost, we’ll also help with getting you the best deal from the rental company.
WHAT HAPPENS IF ADDITIONAL DAMAGE IS FOUND AFTER THE ESTIMATE?
Within 24 hours of dropping off your vehicle, we’ll completely disassemble it so we can find any hidden damage. However, during the repair process, we may find more damage. In this case, we will contact the insurance company for authorization to pay for any supplemental damages and notify you before we take further action.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OEM AND AFTERMARKET PARTS?
OEM parts are those that are made by the manufacturer of your vehicle or their authorized supplier. Aftermarket parts are third-party copies of the original factory parts. We strive to use genuine, OEM parts whenever possible. However, this decision is at the discretion of the insurance company and their guidelines, but you can be sure we’ll keep you updated about this.
CAN ARCADIA BODY SHOP MATCH MY PAINT COLOR EXACTLY?
Absolutely. We have access to literally thousands of paint formulations and our paint technicians can flawlessly blend the new paint into the existing paint of your vehicle, insuring an invisible repair.
WHAT IS MY DEDUCTIBLE, AND WHO DO I PAY IT TO?
