We realize you have a busy schedule but there’s a few things you should know if you are looking for a collision repair estimate.
First, your insurance company may tell you to go to a body shop of THEIR choice. You should go to a body shop of YOUR choice.
Secondly, you don’t need to be running all over town getting three estimates. If you choose Arcadia Body Shop, we’ll deal with your insurance company, get you a rental car if you need one, and do everything we can to help you through this unfortunate incident.
Lastly, if someone ran into you, don’t accept a payment from the other party based on an estimate. It is virtually impossible for anybody to give you an accurate repair cost based on photos or a visual inspection.
Even for seemingly minor damage, it will be necessary to completely disassemble your vehicle, research the manufacturers precise repair procedures, electronically scan your vehicle for fault codes and in many cases, measure the structural alignment and compare them to factory specifications. An estimate based solely on a visual inspection could be less than half of the final repair cost.
